This new build project was a collaboration between Savoy Cinemas, Lindum Group Ltd and Bassetlaw Council. The site is in the centre of Worksop and next door to the Town Hall. The project was won in a local authority open tender based on design & deliverability. The design had to be a new landmark for Worksop and also compliment the existing buildings and reflect the historic setting. The scheme had many technical issues to solve - not least the complex acoustic design required by modern cinemas.
